I'm a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in autism, ADHD, mood disorders, and learning disorders. I provide evidence-based, personalized assessments — without the long wait. My goal is to get your family scheduled within two weeks, and your full report back in your hands within two weeks of completed testing.

Assessment isn't just a diagnostic process — it's a therapeutic one. While the goal of an evaluation is to identify an accurate diagnosis and guide the right treatment, I've found that the process itself can help a child and their family feel seen, heard, and validated.
My approach is built around helping families understand their child, and helping children understand themselves. I take the time to walk through results and recommendations in a way that's clear and meaningful — never just a stack of numbers. Every report I write is personalized, strengths-based, family-centered, and easy to understand.
SERVICES OFFERED
Psychological Consultation: Every assessment starts here. This appointment reviews your child's background and history and helps determine what type of assessment, if any, would be most beneficial. A consultation can also stand alone if you just need a single visit with a specialist to figure out next steps for your child. Assessments cannot be booked without a completed consultation first.
Comprehensive Assessments: These assessments are intended to provide detailed information about your child across various domains and evaluate multiple possible diagnoses at once. These assessments can provide valuable insights about your child's strengths and challenges to inform detailed recommendations to support their needs and growth.
Targeted/Focused Assessments: These assessments are a cost- and time-effective way to assess specific diagnoses. They may not be appropriate for every client but can be used for many clients to determine if a child has a suspected diagnosis.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Consultations: A 90-minute appointment where we'll review your child's background, talk through your concerns, and I'll give you clear recommendations for next steps. You'll complete some forms beforehand. Please bring any prior school psychoeducational evaluations, IEP, or RTI data — this helps guide testing and diagnosis. A letter from a teacher with their observations is welcome, but not required.
Assessments: Focused assessments typically run 2–3 hours; comprehensive assessments may take multiple appointments. Depending on what we're evaluating, testing may look at cognitive ability, academic skills, attention and executive functioning, emotional and behavioral functioning, language, motor development, adaptive functioning, and memory. Parents (and sometimes teachers) will complete some forms beforehand. Make sure your child is well-rested, and pack a snack — and if they're sick, let's reschedule.
For focused assessments, we typically review results right after testing, and a detailed report follows within two weeks. For comprehensive assessments, we'll schedule a feedback appointment about two weeks after testing to go over results together — you can decide whether your child joins that conversation. Either way, you'll leave with personalized recommendations and a full written report.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I don't accept insurance directly — this helps me keep appointments timely and my rates predictable, with flat fees and no hidden costs. I provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. It's your responsibility to confirm whether your plan requires pre-authorization.
HOW LONG DOES EACH ASSESSMENT TAKE?
Most assessments take 1–3 visits, depending on your child's testing plan, pace, and attention span. Visits usually run 2–4 hours.
DO YOU SEE ADULTS?
No. I see patients from 1 year - high school graduation.
HOW LONG IS YOUR WAIT LIST?

MY STORY
My passion for working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders began during my undergraduate internship at The Sunshine School in Searcy, AR. Following my graduation from Harding University, I completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology through Wheaton College, located just outside of Chicago. While in the Chicago area, I worked with children with at New Connections Academy, Anne and Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital, and Chicago Children’s Clinic. I then completed a residency in Pediatric Psychology at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. I completed a two year post-doctoral fellowship Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where I was awarded the Autism Fellowship in addition to my fellowship in Pediatric Psychology. As the Autism Fellow, I conducted autism assessments as part of a study sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. I have completed clinical training in the ADOS-2 through Vanderbilt’s TRIAD program and Children’s Mercy Hospital. I completed my research certification in the ADOS-2 through Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Following my training, I returned to my home state of Tennessee, where I have been working with children since 2016.
